FLOAT, FISH, FIND YOURSELF
We offer no hassle, all inclusive, kayak rentals down the Ogeechee with special events at George L. Smith state park and COMING SOON THE OHOOPEE!
Upper run
You meet us at our shop and we get you set up with a life jacket, paddle, waterproof phone cases, bug spray, sunscreen, pick your raft and sign paperwork. Then we load up and take you up to Oliver bridge where you start your 1.5-2.5 hr trip (depending on the water speed) down to our boat launch where we pick you up and bring you back to your cars. You can stop as much as you want and there are a few good places to stop and swim along the way. This is probably the prettiest stretch of the Ogeechee.
Lower run
You meet us at our shop and we get you set up with a life jacket, paddle, waterproof phone cases, bug spray, sunscreen, pick your raft and sign paperwork.
This run needs a guide and is a bit longer. Great for someone wanting to fish! We start at Lagoon boat launch and float to the river house. The water is slower and there are perfect spots for fishing. Your chances of seeing wildlife is higher on this run! Excellent spots at the end for swimming. Total float time is about 3-3.5 hrs.
Our History
Two medical professionals, who share a love for the outdoors, just trying to get people excited about kayaking! Ross loves to fish, Lacey loves to float and thankfully we both like country music. This has been a dream of ours for years and we are so excited to see it come alive!
